Privacy

Privacy at Wordwood is simple by design.

Website

Wordwood Studio does not collect personal information through this website.

The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, visitor identifiers, or persistent browser storage.

The site does not contain contact forms, account registration, newsletters, or other mechanisms for submitting personal information.

Wordwood Studio does not automatically load third-party scripts, fonts, images, analytics services, or other external resources. Website assets, including Bootstrap, are served locally.

Clews

Clews does not collect or transmit personal information.

Projects, Clews, Guilds, Threads, images, and map information are stored locally on the user's Mac.

A Clews project may contain personal information if the user chooses to enter it. That information remains part of the user's local project; Wordwood Studio does not collect it.

Clews does not use accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, cloud services, or third-party SDKs.

Clews does not use iCloud or CloudKit.

The application does not make network requests.

Information entered into a Clews project remains on the device unless the user deliberately exports it.

Users may export:

  • portable .clews project files;
  • selected project content as PDF;
  • Thread Maps as PNG images.

The user chooses where exported files are saved. If the chosen location is provided by a third-party or cloud storage service, that service operates independently from Clews and Wordwood Studio.

Images

Clews allows users to select images for inclusion in their projects.

Selected images are stored as part of the local Clews project data.

Clews does not upload these images to Wordwood Studio.

If an image stored in Apple Photos or iCloud Photos must be downloaded by macOS before it can be selected, that process is handled by Apple and is not a data transfer initiated by Clews.

Support

The Wordwood website does not currently collect support information through a form.

When an official Wordwood support email is made available, users may choose to contact Wordwood by email.

If a user sends an email to Wordwood, Wordwood will necessarily receive the email address and any information voluntarily included in the message.

This information should be used only to respond to the support request and related communication.

Changes

Wordwood may update this Privacy Policy when its products or website practices change.

Material changes should be reflected on this page together with an updated revision date.
